Kaleliler’s investments in manufacturing technologies, automation, robotic systems, CNC machining and sustainable production have been featured in a two-page article in Industrial Technology, Issue N.5/2026.
Investing in the future of fastener manufacturing
With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience, Kaleliler continues to strengthen its production capabilities through investments in technology and automation for high-strength structural and industrial fasteners.
Kaleliler’s manufacturing portfolio covers a broad range of fastening solutions, from standard heavy-duty bolts to components developed for specific engineering applications.
Its production capabilities include EN 14399 preloaded structural bolting assemblies, EN 15048 non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies, ASTM A193 Grade B7 studs, and fastening solutions designed for demanding high-pressure and high-temperature industrial applications.
Surface treatment processes also form an integral part of the company’s manufacturing capabilities. Hot-dip galvanizing and application-specific surface treatments support corrosion resistance and the management of friction characteristics according to relevant technical requirements.
Integrating robotic thread rolling lines
Kaleliler is expanding the use of robotic technologies within its thread rolling operations to support the production of hot-forged and high-strength fasteners.
The integration of automated feeding and handling systems is designed to improve process repeatability, maintain controlled cycle times and reduce operator-dependent variations.
This production infrastructure supports manufacturing processes for products manufactured according to EN 14399, EN 15048 and the requirements of heavy industrial applications.
Expanding precision through automated CNC machining
As engineering requirements become increasingly complex, Kaleliler continues to expand its machining capabilities through investments in fully automated CNC equipment.
The new machining infrastructure supports the production of complex geometries, custom-engineered components, different tolerance requirements and prototype parts.
Automated setup and continuous machining capabilities also provide greater production flexibility, particularly for projects requiring customised fastening components.
Increasing production capability with new nut manufacturing equipment
Another area of Kaleliler’s investment programme focuses on expanding nut manufacturing capabilities.
The new production infrastructure supports the manufacture of compatible bolt-and-nut assemblies while strengthening the company’s capabilities for structural applications, energy infrastructure, petrochemical facilities and other demanding industrial environments.
The investment is part of Kaleliler’s broader approach to developing an integrated manufacturing structure for industrial fastening solutions.
Sustainable manufacturing and CBAM alignment
Kaleliler’s investments in automation and robotic production systems also support more controlled use of materials and production resources.
The company continues to work on reducing material waste and improving energy efficiency per unit of production while developing its infrastructure in line with the reporting requirements associated with the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
Processes for monitoring, calculating and reporting embedded carbon emissions are being developed to support the sustainability and regulatory requirements of customers operating in European markets.
Long-term manufacturing capability through technology investment
Investments in robotic automation, CNC machining, new production equipment and sustainability-oriented process development form part of Kaleliler’s long-term approach to strengthening its manufacturing infrastructure.
Through these investments, Kaleliler continues to develop its capabilities in process control, production continuity and application-specific fastening solutions for industrial projects serving global markets.
